Environmental

commitment

Committed to a sustainable future, we work every day to create a positive impact and foster comprehensive development within the communities we serve.

We acknowledge our environmental impact and take responsibility for implementing strategies for climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience, conserving biodiversity, and protecting ecosystems. In addition, we embrace a circular economy model to enhance waste management and contribute to sustainable development.

We have transformed our operations by integrating international management systems, data processing, and new technologies, through which we aim to strengthen preventive and mitigation measures against negative environmental impacts, reinforce our resilience, and improve emergency protocols and communication with our people and communities.

Environmental management system

Ensuring compliance and enhancing sustainability

We prioritize strict adherence to environmental laws, implementing the DOS-PRCS-2 procedure to ensure we meet all regulatory requirements.

Our commitment to the environment is reinforced by compliance with our Sustainability Policy, DSA-POLI-01, and the implementation of an Environmental Management System compliant with ISO 14001. This integration enhances our operational efficiency and sustainability.

ISO 14001-2015 certifications: 60 % of Business Units have their Environmental Management Systems certified under the ISO 14001-2015 standard.

Environmental assessment of supplier entities: in all Business Units, we have implemented an update to our Purchasing and Contracting Norm, including a new environmental assessment of supplier entities.

Environmental emergency response

Proactive Preparedness for Environmental Safety

At ALEATICA, our commitment to environmental stewardship extends to comprehensive emergency preparedness. We have implemented the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan, identified as DOS-PRCS-08, which is a crucial component of our Safety Management System (SMS).

Key features of our response plan:

ISO 14001:2015 compliance:

All our Business Units have developed Environmental Emergency Prevention and Response Plans that align with ISO 14001:2015 requirement 8.2, ensuring our readiness to manage environmental emergencies effectively.

Tailored plans for each unit:

Each Business Unit tailors its response plan to address specific environmental risks associated with its operations, enhancing our ability to manage potential emergencies swiftly and efficiently.
