Environmental commitment

Today, our role goes beyond simply operating assets: it is about innovating so that every kilometre we operate contributes to a better future.

At Aleatica, we recognise our environmental impact and take responsibility for implementing strategies to adapt to, mitigate, and build resilience to climate change, conserve biodiversity, and protect ecosystems.

We also embrace a circular economy model to improve waste management and contribute to sustainable development.

We have transformed our operations by integrating international management systems, data processing, and new technologies.

We aim to improve measures for preventing and mitigating negative environmental impacts, strengthen our resilience, and enhance emergency protocols and communication with our partners and communities.

In 2025, we promoted environmental sustainability as a means to innovate in the management and operation of our infrastructure, guiding our decisions to strengthen resilience and long-term performance. This approach led to the strengthening of processes that allow us to systematically identify and manage the impacts, risks, and opportunities associated with climate change, biodiversity, and resource use.

Environmental Management System

With robust climate governance, we aim to ensure that important decisions are made with a focus on a more sustainable and resilient future.

We prioritise strict compliance with environmental laws, implementing the DOS-PRCS-2 procedure to ensure we meet all regulatory requirements.

Our commitment to the environment is reinforced by our compliance with Environmental Policy DSA-POLI-10 and Sustainability Policy DSA-POLI-01, as well as by the implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001. This integration improves our operational efficiency and supports sustainability.

Environmental emergency response

Proactive Preparedness for Environmental Safety

At Aleatica, our commitment to caring for the environment extends to comprehensive emergency preparedness. We have implemented the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan, DOS-PRCS-08, which is a crucial component of our Safety Management System (SMS).

Key features of our response plan:

Compliance with ISO 14001:2015:

All of our Business Units have developed Environmental Emergency Prevention and Response Plans that align with requirement 8.2 of ISO 14001:2015, ensuring our readiness to effectively manage environmental emergencies.

Customised plans for each unit:

Each Business Unit tailors its response plan to address the specific environmental risks associated with its operations, enhancing our ability to manage potential emergencies quickly and efficiently.

Environmental training

Building a culture of sustainability

We run an Annual Sustainability Training program, designed to raise awareness among our staff regarding environmental and social sustainability. Throughout 2025, we continued to provide internal training on climate change-related topics for the sustainability teams within our Business Units. This initiative is part of our efforts to better understand the challenges associated with climate change and to support the progressive integration of these matters into the company’s management.

We provided training in circular economy, which strengthens our staff's capabilities and helps us identify specific opportunities to use resources efficiently and improve waste management.
