ESG assessment process for suppliers
- Description of the service or purchase to be made.
- Provide the supplier with the questionnaire (Appendix 8 of the Procurement Policy)
- Receive the questionnaire and share it with the Business Unit’s Environmental Control or Sustainability Manager.
- Receive responses and requested evidence.
- Review responses and evidence; depending on the supplier’s risk, the sustainability assessment will either be signed or not.
- Keep the certificate for the supplier’s file.
Respect for Human Rights in the supply chain
One of the main documents required for contracting a supplier is the signing of the Supplier Code of Conduct, which is an extension of the Code of Ethics and Conduct. At a minimum, it guarantees: freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, the prohibition of forced labour or any form of modern slavery, the prohibition of child labour, and fair and equitable treatment. Aleatica makes its I CARE ethics channel available to all third parties.
